"Stayed with my daughter in a twin room. Really comfy beds. Room looked good, cosy and was clean. Nice toiletries in the bathroom and liked the addition of a duck for my daughter’s bath. Great breakfast! Staff friendly. We ate dinner in the pub too and that was lovely. All in all a great stay and we’d recommend. "

"Initial concerns regarding cleanliness in the bathroom were quickly resolved to an acceptable standard. Staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was good although some items from the buffet were not re stocked straight away when used up ,ie ,juice. The bar ,although well stocked was really overpriced. "

"Breakfast was excellent. WiFi fast. Staff lovely. A few stains on the carpet. Mattress very uncomfortable - asked for a mattress topper, but they don't have any, so gave us a duvet to put under the sheet, which sort of worked. Air con on some kind of sensor/timer which meant it goes off during the night and the room got hot quite quickly. "

"Clean room, if tired, was nice for 2 nights though I did mention to them that the mattress in our lovely room really needed replacing. The staff were great but clearly shorthanded. On our first night we ate in the bar, but waited an hour for our meals which were ok... The views as shown on the ads are spot on - incredible, and we were very lucky with the weather. With some investment, this place could be really, really lovely, inside as well as out."
