disappointed that found out after I booked pool was closed. Plenty of parking & room was clean with plenty of tea & biscuits. Bed comfy but did not sleep well due to a high pitched noise outside that would have been less audible had the window closed a bit tighter.

Fantastic staff, helpful, compassionate and understanding. I loved the gym, fitted with Technogym equipment like my local gym here in NI, so was pleasantly surprised when I could use the app away from home. The hotel is about to be refurbished and once done, it will be even nicer to stay here. Great breakfast, lovely surroundings of Eaglescliffe make this place first point of call for my future stays when I come home to visit. Thanks so so much to Joanne for her help during my stay. Look forward to coming back again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, near to Yarm and Preston Park Museum. Also it was only half an hour's drive to Saltburn by the Sea. Everything was lovely, breakfast, room, staff etc, but the Health Spa was amazing and we enjoyed every minute of it!

All staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. It was great to have the use of the spa facilities and my son loved the swimming pool. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very nice and the breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay again.

The only down side was there,s no lift upto rooms. Abit awkward if you are disabled, and unware of This. Other then that a great stay. Staff were amazing, and loved the wellness centre, and spa. We had a lovely stay, our family room was a little less fancy than the rwat of the hotel but thats fine, the food was lovely and so were the staff. The pool was nice, the area needs a little bit of a refresh and the spa was out of order but overall we had a loveky stay and will be back.

I arrived and the receptionist was nowhere to be found. I waiting’s 5-10 minutes then wandered around looking for staff. Found a kitchen team member who went to find someone. Waited another 5 minutes. Got checked in. Room was cold. Missed dinner due to delays. Shower started lovely and warm, within seconds of stepping in became cold. Had to suffer a cold shower. No hairdryer in the room. Checked out. Mentioned the issues. Receptionist was totally unbothered. Breakfast was nice. A very disappointing experience for a premium hotel.

Great last minute night away with kids. Lovely hotel, friendly staff and brilliant leisure facilities! Mark couldn't be more helpful! If there was one down side, the restaurant menu could do with a revisit (very limited) and the beautifully cooked steak and fresh fish were very much let down by the frozen chips! BUT, the breakfast was amazing! Will definitely visit again!

Delightful hotel

This hotel was delightful The staff were excellent and the swimming pool area was great - even though the pool itself is quite small. If we need to stay in the area again we will certainly rebook.
