"Fantastic hotel and pub, very cosy and set in a fab location. The room we stayed in was delightful, very large with great amenities. Food was very tasty and the breakfast was plentiful and hot with a good variety of continental and hot breakfast items to choose from (full English including veggie option). Great to have onsite parking too. Will definitely be back thanks!"

"Staff were lovely and the room was delightful. As always, the location is perfect for walking. Service in the restaurant is friendly but has room for improvement (eg taking plates away promptly, and presenting wine at the right temperature (red wine temp was good on one day, but far too cold the next). It would be useful when booking if it were clearer that there is a restricted menu Sun - Tues. Overall, we really appreciate the welcome here."

Great old pub in a quaint little town near the Cotswolds. The bathroom was a little small, but it’s pretty good for a 500 year old building! If you have a car, try and park in the nearby car park and walk through the lane way, don’t bother trying to park at the Talbot.

A heritage room in a wonderfully presented property, with a spacious room with specialty tea and coffee and local fresh milk.
A warm welcome from the staff on arrival and then later for a meal in the bar/restaurant.
Very handy for all Ledbury has to offer and walking distance of the wide array of sights, shops, pubs restaurants, take aways and everything you could need/ want.
Wandered and enjoyed several of the local hostelries and beers with welcoming locals.

We very much enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Kings Head. The adventure of staying in a very old pub in the centre of town. It took us a couple of laps of the Ross High street to find the parking entrance and with some precision driving we got in to the car park down a narrow walk way. Parking is a bit limited some evenings but there is also a public parking area at the rear of this. Reception was warm friendly and helpful. Our room was at the top of 4 flights of a steep spiral staircase so the 20...

I hadn't been back to the Green Man for 35 years and was so happy to see it had the same traits still, of a great Herefordshire country pub.
We stayed 2 nights and the service provided by all of the staff was brilliant and big shout goes out to everyone, but especially Jen who checked us in, and showed us to our room, and Poppy who served us in the restaurant.
The room was very nicely appointed, clean and quiet and we can thoroughly recommend the Green Man for a stay while exploring Hereford...

This is a beautiful (new) hotel in the centre of Gloucester really close to all the attractions and shops. The rooms are spacious and really comfortable; great beds, big fluffy towels and modern bathrooms.
There are USB-B and USB-C charging points beside the bed which is great for international travellers. There is also a fridge, complimentary water, lots of beverages, a small bottle of real milk and a Nespresso machine. There is also a wardrobe with complimentary dressing gowns, clothes steamer...

Staff made us welcome as soon as we arrived. Great rooms and fantastic views. Liked the touch that dress was up to you for dinner and we were in our own area for a birthday celebration organised from Australia. Have to say we could not fault anything and apart from the distance from Australia I would stay again and I have no hesitation in recommending Cottage in the Woods to anyone. Residents lounge mobile free zone. Excellent and Breakfasts not to be missed either.
