This new waterfront cottage with a great setting is a beautiful place for the families and friends to get together and enjoy their vacations. We have 6 bedrooms and 2 baths/Hot tub for more than6 people and huge outdoor in a huge backyard facing the lakefront creating a great space for the entire family to enjoy, relax and have fun with each other. The specious rooms , big backyard and having huge above ground deck by the beautiful view of Lake Huron with a private white sandy beach Cayaks/Canoe/fishing and more is ready for booking over 2-16 people is $750 per night with $60 charges for over 12 people and pet friendly up to two pets only $40 for each pet per night.   • Final camping trip of the season and we finally have sun for once. This weekend we camping at Point Farms Provincial Park off of Lake Huron. It's our first time here and the beach is enormous!!! I highly recommend visiting this place as its great for families. White sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see. Water is cold but refreshing with only a little bit of seaweed. The shallow end extends quite far out giving you lots of room to have fun without getting in anyone's way. Bugs aren't too bad either. There is no firewood available within the park but a 30 second drive north outside the park marks a small variety store where you can buy all your camping needs such as fire starters, wood, kindling, and so on. The closest grocery store is about a 20 minute drive south towards Goderich called Zehers. This parks marks our 30th provincial park in Ontario.

Location was lovely

We had a great time, despite a few points. 1) Some rooms pictured on the ad are not in the building. 2) Host lives in main floor apartment that is connected to the rest of the rental space. Our impression was with a Vrbo rental was that we would have the whole cottage to ourselves.

Excellent stay.

The cottage is worth the price. The wide lake view is amazing. We were 4 families who spent 2 nights at this cottage. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints, except that the bedding were not made when we arrived. Probably they were not changed since the previous guests left. We found some extra bedding in the closets but were not fresh. Except this part all our stay was pleasant.

some good some bad - could be 5 star with simple upgrades

First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but needs some fix-ups. Two of the screen doors need the screen replaced badly- the first night the holes in the screen let in a ton of bugs - we left the windows and doors closed for the rest of the stay. The upstairs bathroom is nice, but the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The second bathroom on the ground floor was not great. The shower door and the bathroom door would not stay closed and the sink was not hooked up, so you could not wash your hands after using the toilet. The kayaks were not useable, as one was filed with spiders and the other mud - these should be maintained so that they can be used. The fire pit was great, but the stairs to the beach were a nightmare. Three large spots with no stairs and a very steep incline - there was a warning of "use stairs at own risk", but very disappointing as this is a major safety hazard. Our rhumba ran for 2 days straight, as it was obvious that whoever cleans doesn't clean under beds, and it found various objects.
