The room had a very chemical smell to it which the operators claim was from the cleaning of the sheets (it wasn’t) The heating did not work in one room and was on a 2 hour timer in the other rooms which when asked about we were told you need to keep switching on; including in the night - yes you are expected to wake up every 2 hours to reset the heating to keep the rooms warm in Dunedin in the middle of winter. Clearly they have no real respect for guests and I would never recommend this property to others and will not be staying again

Wrongly heated
Weather was freezing and so was the unit.not enough good heating at all.had 3 layers on just to keep warm.will never stay in a unit like that in winter ever again.way too cold

One of the best holiday parks i have been to. Hot water is not metered or coin operated. Our tv room was small and comfortable with sleeping for 5. I was amazed such a small room could hold 5 comfortably but it does. And the room designs are cool. Only thing i would have liked was security stay on the bottom window so we could open at night for fresh air circulation. The top open window is not enough when 4 people breathing in and out all night. But as far as holiday parks go this was great and so close to the beach. Also we paid for 3 sets of linen but only got two...but we did not follow up...And i need a copy of my invoice please Expedia.

A Real Kiwi Holiday

The mattresses in the single beds are very thin so when you sit or lie down you can feel the slats of the bed frame under you

This was a wonderful facility with very helpful and friendly staff. It was clean, well located and unique. Loved Felix the cat who stayed the night and the friendly guest using the facility. I would highly recommend the holiday park to anyone. They seem to have accommodation to suit anyone's needs.

It was just what we needed. The only complaint was the outside light, streaming through the curtain. Could u use sensor lights so they dont stay on all night and shine through. Not great for light sleepers

The shower pressure was incredible!! The people around were lovely and thr mattress i slept on was comfy as. I loved the wee room we were in. The mad rush to the toilet was an experience for sure.
