Bed and Breakfast in Drake

"Yikes! Checked in online....but it didn't work. Check-in at front desk assigned room114. Open the door and it clearly wasn't changed. The room keys (yup metal real keys) were on the dresser and the bed was used. Yuck. Reassigned to room 134. It was clean and ready.....or so I thought. Door has a 1/2 inch gap at the bottom. Allowing the wind and weather in. Shower has a 3-in-1 soap,shampoo, conditioner dispenser. Alas it was empty. Notified front desk and crickets. We had some soap, so we made it through that day. Again notified front desk and 3 hours later housekeeping dropped off VO5 shampoo. Lol 45 minutes before check out. Did I tell you I was charged for both room114 and room 134? They blamed "the 3rd party booking agent." Ok the frozen mini waffles and sausage with egg biscuits were acceptable for breakfast."

"Historical property dated and seems like they were surviving on their legacy not on service, granted there property is torn up by a construction project. Room we were assigned had scaffolding blocking view from both windows and construction equipment breaking up the bed rock right outside. We were assigned a different room. It’s outrageous that they would even rent that room even to Expedia discontinued customers. Also room have portable free standing AC units which are vented by flexible conduit through a piece of plywood wedged into a partially open window. I could go on and on. Huge disappointment on many levels. Don’t stay here."

"The Inn was clean and well appointed with guest amenities and had plenty of parking. They could do better with their coffee service in the morning having it out earlier and making sure it’s hot"

"Well what can I say, I was charged for a room after I already had paid through expedia, it's been almost a week and I still haven't gotten my money back, when I called they said it could take 10 days, call back then, we'll what is if needed that 109.00 to buy gas or groceries in the meantime "

"This place is awful and sketchy. Rooms are non smoking but smells like cigarettes! There is a car parked that was dismantled. Breakfast served is. Old muffins , stale bread, cereals no milk, waffle maker but no waffle mix and old coffee. Glad we’re only there for a night and for the amount that they charge. It’s a NEVER AGAIN!!!!!"
