"We absolutely loved our stay at the Ponderosa. The Hosts are absolutely wonderful very attentive. They are super friendly and love to just chat with their guests as well as go above and beyond to help them. The property is absolutely beautiful with a lovely little stream that passes right by it. Our favorite part of our stay was being able to open our porch door and just listen to the stream while enjoying a fire in the fireplace. "We were so pleased with our stay. Everyone was friendly and check-in and check-out procedures are designed to be flexible and customer-friendly. Our double-queen room with balcony was spacious for our family of three and the mini fridge was bigger than at the chain hotel in town where we stayed earlier in our trip. No problems! We didn’t use the pool or fire pit, but they looked good. The hotel is on the shuttle route in the summer and the location close to the Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP is hard to beat. We were also able to walk to restaurants and mini golf nearby. We would definitely stay here again!"
