"The structure is unique with it being round. That part added character to the rooftop lounge/bar and the restaurant Spinners that did rotate. Our reservation time was perfect to get the best view of the sunset. I really liked the fact the hotel was not a big hotel. It has 12 floors including the rooftop restaurant but not aisles and aisle of rooms or multiple buildings on the property. Self parking was never an issue. "This was an overall great stay! Great location as well. When I checked in though, I was barely greeted by the front desk gentlemen- same thing when we checked out, same man- no smile, not even a peep so I was a little thrown off by that. The pool area was nice but inside the pool, the steps looked like they needed some scrubbing, almost like moldy so not the cleanest pool I’ve seen. The valet guys were AWESOME! All super nice and hospitable, offering waters every time we picked up our car....

"Stayed for two nights here on a vacation. The balcony was overlooking the bay. Two beds and they were comfortable. Nice size TVs. Full kitchen. It was quiet and secluded. You could hear music from the restaurant across the bay by the sand but that wasn’t an issue. We saw dolphins swimming in the evening! Super cool! The staff at the front desk were nice. The guy at the front security gate was nice and helpful (younger kid with glasses). You can park anywhere once you get your parking pass....

"This is at least our 4th stay at this property. We really like the location. It's close to everything. This time we were in room 216. I do feel like this room needs some updating like a new chair, new sofa/futon and a new mattress for the main bed. All of these are very old, uncomfortable and worn. Also the air conditioning was spotty. Sometimes it worked ok and sometimes it didn't keep up. I'm sure we'll be back to stay again but next time I would make sure the room we get is updated. "I tell everyone I meet that heaven is going to be just like the Hollander Hotel, only with cats. I can't say enough about this hotel! The pool area is a dream come true, fountains on either side of the pool, plenty of shade (if you want that), also plenty of sun and lounge chairs and topiaries and fresh towels and a fully stocked Pool Bar just steps away. The hotel itself is a fantasy trip back in time to Old South Florida, with vintage pictures and decorations, and a veranda across the front....
