Perfect Getaway!

Great staycation

Mom and I had a great time fishing and relaxing. Plenty of room for large family's. Pet and kid friendly.Everything was clean and very nice! Brandon the host was good at communicating with us and made things easy and accomadating.Would def stay again. Thanks for a great time!

Wonderful Getaway with Family!

This place is fantastic! One of the best things is touring when you first arrive. There is so much to do! Tons of games, relaxing outdoors, and chickens! Definitely recommend!

Great (quiet) weekend getaway

Who doesn’t want to pick their own eggs from the chicken coupe for breakfast?! We played several games as a family and managed to get in able on the property.

Perfect place

The house was incredible we kept finding new charming things around every corner and it was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was the perfect place to relax and celebrate our friends before the day of their wedding. There is so much to do all around the property. Incredibly memorable and scenic location.

The property was amazing from yhe lake to the house everything was what the listing said and much more the house was very big and had plenty of things to do if ever we need a big place again we will definitely be staying here and the host was great he answered any questions we had and was fast to respond back

Great Family Stay

The farm was such an amazing place to find. Our extended family, including my older parents truly enjoyed their stay. There was something for everyone, from small children to teens to adults. We loved the ping pong table, campfire, foosball and record player. The host was on top of everything and a great communicator. Thanks again!

Perfect place for our Thanksgiving reunion

Our family of 18 was looking for a location to gather for a Thanksgiving reunion for our group scattered across the country. The St Louis area became our target destination. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay than the Grafton Getaway Farm in Dow, IL, just a 40 minute drive into the city. The house was so accommodating to our needs and the kids loved playing farmer as they tended the chickens and fed the ducks. Brandon was a great host, it was fun seeing his collection of memorabilia from his world travels, some which our group had experienced but many others we are now inspired to undertake. A fully stocked kitchen and pantry with extra tables and chairs made our Thanksgiving feast one for the memory books. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location to other families looking for a taste of farm living.

Farm family fun

We had one large family gathering with members ages 1-67. Everyone had an amazing time. There was so much room and different activities to hold everyone’s attention. Short drive to wineries and restaurants.

The property is a lovely adventure!

We had a great time celebrating my husband's 60th birthday with a surprise trip with all of our kids and grand kiddos. The property had beds everywhere and we fit perfectly. The entire property was an adventure in our own backyard. So many things to see and do and discover in every corner.

Enough room for all of us, and there were 21! So much to do! The temperatures were under 20 degrees for much of our stay. We wish we could have taken advantage of the outdoor activities, but it was just too cold.

Great get a way for families or friends

Wow! Grafton Getaway even better in person than in photos. Really lovely property and we thorougly enjoyed our time there Brandon was super responsive and helpful (we forgot a corkscrew-ha!). This is a great spot for kids (we had a six month old baby up to 7 year olds) and adults. I enjoyed the hammock, kids enjoyed the rock pit in the barn and we all had fun on the trampoline!

Perfect Getaway

Wonderful couple of days. Perfect way to celebrate the Christmas Season with our family. Thoughtful touches throughout the house. Plenty of space and lots to do. Short drive from St Louis yet you felt like you were a 1000 mikes away. Kids had a blast and the moms got to relax. Would love to come back the the farm or visit their other properties in the future!

Family gathering with something for everyone

Family weekend for kids and adults. Grafton Getaway was perfect! Kids loved the play areas and especially the trampoline. Adults enjoyed the fire pit and many indoor spaces. House was spacious and clean with many places for sleeping. The highlight was the stocked pond. Kids caught small fish easily and adults caught much larger fish. Host was very responsive.
