"The owner is not kind or friendly, I had to wait in rain around 40 minutes before a kind neighbor arrived and helped, no bed is ok but tatami and everything is short, I’m 5’8 only and I had to try sleeping in half moon position, no bathroom attached bed room, at night time you have to go down into a very steep stairs which is dangerous, no taxi can enter the premise and will not come to get you. "It was a really nice experience. It was great that we had to take our shoes off at the entrance it really sets the vibe tha this is a true Ryokan. The room was super clean and well thought out. "A really lovely hotel with a great view of Mt Fuji. We had a good size room with a balcony, I loved just sitting on the balcony with a coffee. We added the evening taster dinner which was excellent. The breakfast was just as good. It was a 20 minute walk from the bus station, but used the free shuttle bus on the day we left to get us back to the bus station. Overall an excellent stay and would recomment it."
