"A very clean and lovely place. Staff very welcoming and well presented. Rooms are large and comfortable bed. Only negative feedback I can give is no lamp/light for when you don’t want the main lights on. I enjoyed my break and will return when I’m in the area again. "

"Overall the stay was good. Staff were nice, helpful and friendly. The room was nice and clean. The only problem that I had was, I ordered a pizza from room service that was marked up as being hand made with chicken, choretho and halepinos. The pizza that was delivered was an obvious one that you can buy cheaply from Tesco's. It had a stuffed crust filled with tomato sauce, that was not on the menu and no halepinos. "Horndon on the Hill is a picturesque village and the Bell is a delightful pub and hotel. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet and in a pretty setting. My only gripe was breakfast which can work out really expensive. Toast and jam is £4.10, a 'Variety' pack cereal £2.50 and tea £2.50. My breakfast cost £17.10 and it could have been more."
