"We were asked to pay £3 per bag on check in and check out - however, while sat in the lobby, other guests were told “we normally ask people to pay for bags, but it’s fine!”. If this is an arbitrary rule and only some guests are asked to pay while others aren’t (despite no clear distinction), then I have no interest in staying again."

"Not much nearby, bit of a walk to everything if you struggle as my husband does. But we got around that and found the nearest bus station. Lovely and clean, compact, but everything you need. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved it "

"we stayed at the Marling because of is location easy access to public transportation the area is great restaurants and pubs close by 10 mints walking distance to the parliament to Big ben Westminster Aby cathedral and about 30 mnts to Buckingham palace and 5 mnts to the tube with conations to Chinatown Covent Garden Piccadilly lines Green park station for the Buckingham Palace the tube is easy to get around I give Google map 100% for directions on the public transport. the Staff is magnificent always willing to help and make your stay more enjoyable. we highly recommend it "

"I’ve stayed at The Ark at Canary Wharf for extended periods and keep coming back, which probably says everything. I’ve been staying here on and off since November last year, often for months at a time, and the experience has consistently been excellent. The staff are always welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful, which makes a huge difference when you’re somewhere long-term rather than just passing through. The building itself is well maintained, comfortable, and in a great location, but what really stands out is the level of service and the atmosphere the team creates. I’ve stayed in plenty of places around London and this is one of the few where you actually feel looked after. Honestly, I have nothing negative to say, and that’s rare. If you’re considering staying here, I’d highly recommend it."

"The bar could be open later and the staff at breakfast were a bit slow acknowledging we were waiting to be seated. The lobby and reception staff were excellent and very welcoming. Breakfast was superb. "
