"We enjoyed our stay at Brasted Lodge very much and only wish we had had more time to spend there! The location was conveniently spaced between train stations for easy access to the city, and close to many attractions and village shops/restaurants. The host, Robert, was so kind, and even helped us when we unexpectedly had a flat tire. We hope we can return soon! "

"My family and I enjoyed our stay, the property felt like brand new with all the mod cons we required. In a beautiful location, which allowed us to be close to our family. A shout out to the local pub Rose & Crown for wonderful service and great food also"

"This was a lovely, clean place with plenty of room. A safe neighborhood close to public transport and a short walk to a small co-op for groceries. For us, it was perfect except for one thing we didn’t check before booking. It has no Wi-Fi. This is a deal breaker for us, and we won’t stay again until this is offered in the house."

"Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us."

"If you want a honest review it was good on all appliances and equipment in cottage but the description of cottages said ground floor but it wasn't as had aot of big steps down to the kitchen area and I James struggled with them and walking up to the flat as path was terrible and and nothing to hold onto trying to climb steps you need to give a better or more truth account of what you are letting out as James really struggled even on the little step coming out of the bathroom. "A small cottage in an excellent location for visiting local attractions, especially if you are in NT or HHA. We met the owners who live next door, and they were really nice and helpful. They left milk for us on arrival too. The cottage is for 4, but the downstairs footprint is open plan and quite small. We visited as a couple and I think it could feel crowded for 4. There are 2 small 2-seater sofas, which are the most uncomfortable I have ever sat on. They really need to be replaced soon. The...

"A very relaxed and pleasant stay over the Xmas period, just what was needed. Made to feel very welcome and very accommodating to our needs.A great little retreat, not too remote, but just enough to feel you are out of the way. Facilities are suited for any occasion or time of the year. a hidden gem and it's only 40 minutes from our home!We loved our stay, we will definitely be back for short getaway breaks."
