Best hotel I've stayed in period. The photos do not do the Sandhya justice. If you're looking for a quiet beach resort like experience with exceptional service, this is the place. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast is simple and tasty and sets you up well for the day. It’s served on your own balcony which for us had a lovely view of Ella Rock. The guest house is located very close to the Main Street which his filled with restaurants and shops. The walk there and back is very steep, but you are in Ella!! The lovely man who runs this place is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. If you want a local feel this is the place for you.

I loved the onsite Loris walk at night. The staff were also very friendly.

The view from the infinity pool was magnificent- could see across the valley, horses grazing - and the back drop of the hills. Buffet dinner was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Rooms were spacious and we had interconnecting room with our teenage children

Clear directions provided prior to arrival, quick check-in and warm welcome provided. We loved our stay at Cocobay! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room had been recently renovated and was nice and clean. The pool was nice and refreshing whilst the beach was calm and safe. I highly recommend Cocobay!

We had a lovely stay at Ella Retreat. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and included a fridge, kettle, little cooktop and kitchen sink which was handy. We had one of the best breakfasts of our trip here - it was delicious and very generous with portions, with lots of options to choose from.
