"First time traveling to key west with adult children and young child age is 6. Location isn’t far from main area it’s very easy to get around straight 10 mins from airport and about 4 miles to Duvall square. Hotel is good size for small family or group of 4. More than that will be tight. Pools and resorts are clean and inviting. I love to watch the boats come in and the fresh catch people bring in. Locals are friendly . I highly recommend this location."

"Isla Bella was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. So worth the money you pay to be at this resort. The views alone make it amazing but the fact that it is in a great location plus the easy access to the ocean and all the amenities make this the place to be. "

"Loved Ibis Bay Beach Resort! Classic 1950s Key West resort! Large and nice pool. Nice breakfast. Convenient hourly shuttle to old downtown Key West. From the palm trees to the hammocks, Ibis Bay Beach Resort was the perfect setting for staying in Key West without the hustle and bustle of the touristy downtown area. Loved our stay!"

"Upon check in my husband and I were told that we were given a complimentary upgrade for our room. The gentleman helping us pulled out a map and said you booked a room by the golf course but we have upgraded you to a room by the tennis courts. We thanked him for the offer but declined and said we would prefer the room we selected during booking. The man excused himself and came back with a manager, Natalie. We asked Natalie who gave us the upgrade and she said she didn't know but the new room was larger and had a kitchen. I again thanked her for the offer but said it was just two of us and we did not plan on cooking. She kept going on and on about how the room was bigger until i pulled up the Floorplan and pointed out that both rooms were 681 sqft. Finally I asked her if perhaps someone made a mistake and were overbooked. I would have been ok with this, just wanted honesty. She said the best she could do was put us in the new room tonight and then the next day we could move rooms but be without a room from 11am-4pm. No one wants to be without a room for even a few hours incase they would like to nap, change clothes, or just relax in a room they paid for. Aside from the bad experience during check in, it was a lovely place to stay"
