"Great location right on a pedestrian plaza. The rooms were immaculate and nicely furnished. Parking was under construction, but we were afforded front door parking for our motorcycles. Only difficulty was finding the parking. GPS navigation called for driving up the pedestrian plaza, vice the road behind hotel."

However, when you advertise your business online, you have a duty to your customers to communicate in a standard or universal language. Hotels.com is an international platform with international customers. We arrived in Banska Stiavnica at around 5 pm. I parked curbside while my wife and kids tried to check in first but there was no one...

"Unfortunately the stay was way worse than expected. Of course, no one expects the decorative pillows to be super clean, but white stains?! Waiters, lady at the bar and a receptionist expecting a baby are super friendly. Rest of the personnel were not really glad to visitors. The toilet seat was not even assembled properly and it was detached from the floor. The soap dispenser had hair of a person who shaved there ages before. Bar furniture has holes all over. It's a pity to spend hours driving...

"For skiing nearby, once still has to walk a lot or use the car to get to nearby parking spot in case the nearby lift is closed. "

"Our stay at the hotel was a quick stopover for one night. Hotel was a ski resort and had lovely views, and lots for kids to do. The Hotel itself is a little dated but very clean, staff very helpful. Rooms- again dated but clean, bathroom- a little small. Beds - very firm ( not my thing unfortunately ) Food - was great. "
