"Alisa is such a caring host! Any questions we had were answered and she was absolutely great during the check-in and check out process. The studio was clean and everything we could have asked for. "I love this property we have stayed here two times in 6 months and will be returning again in the next few months. It’s our go to place when we travel to California. Walkable to everything the beach wonderful dining shopping and beautiful sunset views. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Room was clean and well lit grounds at night. Unfortunately check in was rough. Staff was so rude. While I was waiting to check in I was given a pool key. I went back to the reception and someone else was there. I tried to explain I had a key for the pool but I wanted to see if I could get a room key now and finish my check in. He interrupted me mid sentence and said "are you trying to check in? Let's cut to it so I can help faster" mind you there was no one else in the lobby. Rude and short for no reason."

"We had a wonderful stay at Secret Garden Inn in Del Mar. We stayed in the two-bedroom suite, and it exceeded our expectations. The private balcony offered a beautiful ocean view and was the perfect place to relax with a morning coffee or unwind in the evening. The in-room hot tub was a great bonus and made our stay feel extra special. Breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious, with fresh, high-quality options that started each day on a great note. The property is charming, peaceful, and full of character, while the location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. If you’re looking for a relaxing coastal getaway with unique accommodations, beautiful views, and thoughtful amenities, Secret Garden Inn is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again!"

"You can't beat this property for beach access, especially with small children. The kitchen was perfectly functional, living room was great for lounging, and bathrooms worked well for our family of 5. Moving the AC to the back bedroom helped keep the unit cool on hot afternoons. The provided beach gear is in great shape. The reserved parking spot is great to have, but be aware that it will be a tight squeeze for anything bigger than a minivan. Loved our stay, will be back."

"Perfect Family Reunion:This 2-story Townhome was clean & spacious. It is an end unit, very peaceful & private. Excellent communication with host. The attached garage can hold two cars, we were provided with a garage opener in addition to access code. Enjoyed espresso in the mornings just down the street and many local great restaurants to walk to. The pool and tennis courts were well maintained - host offered us tennis equipment, couldn't squeeze it in with all our other activities. We made it to the Torrey Pines beach across the street, there were chairs, towels and umbrellas in the unit. Overall, we loved this place - great for couples, families and kids. Great host too!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would definitely return to this property! It is a great location super close to the beach. The house is very comfortable and clean! It appears newly remodeled and they did a beautiful job. The upstairs living room and kitchen area is bright with lots of natural light and you can see the ocean from the kitchen sink. There is lots of space with additional upstairs deck with table and seating off of the kitchen. It was also quiet. No loud train sound and only the very occasional car from the road behind if it was a loud motorcycle or sports car. Other than that, we didn't really notice the road."
