You do need to check into the actual hotel (which this is not, this is the villas), which is like 5-10 mins away by car, and I'll say this now that the hotel does have a restaurant. "We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. On top of that Erato was super hospitable and responsive to our needs - highly recommended!"

"This was exactly the space we needed after a small apartment in Athens. House is a nice size for 2 adults and 3 kids. Girls loved the yard and the kid toys provided. The pool was too cold to swim in much in May, but was nice to have. The location is great, it feels so private and remote, but is a short drive to some great beaches. But also only a short drive to restaurants/shops in Kissamos and Chania. Our children loved the outdoor cinema and pool, the outdoor space is great for families. "There was plenty for people with young children, the beach was ok but there were a lot of stones. There was a choice of 3 restaurants we preferred restaurant 3. The biggest down fall of this hotel was the lack of entertainment in the evening for adults without children, they have plenty of area’s where they could hold evening entertainment for adults. There for I don’t thing I would return to this hotel. The manager that was very welcoming was the restaurant manager in K3"

"The hotel was spotless and the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and helpful , they couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast and snacks are yummy and they make an ace ice-coffee. Very baby-friendly with comfortable cot and high chair provided in the room. All the facilities you need to make a simple meal , beds very comfy and all the amenities are in good working order. Will definitely like to stay again, it’s a really good base for exploring chania and surrounding areas."

"The property is located on a sandy beach with a beautiful view. The hotel is about 15 minutes taxi ride from the harbour and old town. The staff were helpful. I stayed two nights but a longer stay would have been relaxing. I booked a loft room which was in two floors and I never used the top floor because of the stairs so we were in the room downstairs and the set up of the room was in a way the handwash basin was in the room and not in the toilet so took some space."

"We had a wonderful time at the JW. The staff were fantastic and friendly. Everyone there was warm and helpful. We especially enjoyed talking to Angela at breakfast each morning. The property was modern and comfortable with multiple decorative pools. Our room looked straight into the ocean and the tall mountains behind. I was able to dive the elephant and seal caves which were fantastic. There’s a nearby dive shop. I highly recommend Blue Adventures Diving. The beach is small and quaint with nice chairs overlooking the water. Meals were excellent too. Thank you!"
