"Loved the pool. The villa was really clean and bright. You do need to check into the actual hotel (which this is not, this is the villas), which is like 5-10 mins away by car, and I'll say this now that the hotel does have a restaurant. It was nice that when requested, they quickly delivered an iron and ironing board since it wasn't already inside our villa. The whole property was really clean and well maintained. "We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. On top of that Erato was super hospitable and responsive to our needs - highly recommended!"

"The property was just right for us. The drive up the mountain is not for the weak of heart though as most of the climb is on steep and narrow roads. That said, most folks take it slow and work together to get where they need to go safely. The view was stunning and the atmosphere relaxing. Pool was key. We did not stay long enough to use the grill or pizza oven but it was fun to have. "
