"I honestly cannot say enough good things about Maleme Mare Beach Resort! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was part of the family. Stavros, the resort host, was absolutely amazing! He didn’t just bring guests together and help strangers become friends, he genuinely made every guest feel like they were part of his own family. You could tell he truly cared about everyone and wanted them to have the best experience possible. And Sasha, the bartender, made some of the best drinks and always kept everyone smiling! The entire property was incredibly clean and well maintained, the pool was beautiful, and the views were just breathtaking. Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn’t cooperate for part of my stay, but that didn’t stop me from having a great time! The entertainment was so much fun and there was always laughter and good company. I traveled to Crete solo, but never once felt alone at this resort. The staff and atmosphere made my trip even more special than I could have imagined. I came to Greece for the beautiful beaches and scenery, but I left with wonderful memories and new friends. I would return to Maleme Mare in a heartbeat! Thank you for making my first solo trip to Greece so unforgettable! ❤️🇬🇷"

"We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing, we wanted to stay longer! The food is delicious (some of our best meals were at hotel), service is excellent, beach is wonderful. They are beyond accommodating regarding food restrictions and allergies and make modifications AND remember your restrictions. Staff will serve food and drinks at beach. We had a delicious welcome cake at arrival. The ONLY thing was the plunge pool the room has is not heated. I hope to come back!"

"We had an excellent, if short, stay. The hotel should really be 4 stars, hands down. Room (suite) was impecable, great furnishings and bedding, staff accommodating and free parking very convenient. The location is as best it can be, right in the harbor, with magnificent views. The only place we will consider if we return to Chania."

"This was our second visit to Atlantica Amalthia. Very nice hotel. Everywhere was very clean, our room was a good size (we had a room in the building on the beach side) with nice balcony. Nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast room was nice and good choice of food. Very well kept beach. All of the staff were first class. So friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Visited the spa and had two massages during my stay and both were very nice and relaxing. Definitely recommend. Reasonable price. Didn't use the pool as it got busy very quickly. Sunbeds were very close together and not positioned well that you could get the sun all day. Whilst I enjoy swimming in a pool, we chose to stay on the beach each day. Good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Recommend Sebastien next door. Absolute gem of a hotel and would definitely recommend it."
