Great place

Great place to stay close to all shops & eateries. Staff are fantastic, clean rooms free use of beach equipment, bikes

The Motel was really clean with recently updated modern rooms. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and the room was great value for money.

Beautiful surroundings, great accomodation, comfortable and way above expectation! The outdoor shower was a total highlight! Would recommend to all!

Aidan at reception was excellent, very, friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and absolutely spotless, wish we had stayed a lot longer . Great position

You would like to stay at or apartmentsli say our because thats how they make you feel nice clean the staff are very helpful twominutes walk to the beach and restaurants everything was perfect thank you

The Lodge exceeded our expectation. The individual lodges were very well appointed and tucked away in the forest. When we arrived the staff were very helpful, as they were throughout our four day stay. The meals were varied and imaginative ... well done chef! Diwan is centrally located in the Daintree so the Lodge is a good spot from which to explore. We loved it.

Beautiful setting, very peaceful and relaxing, food is unreal and great value.

Value: Not cheap but worth it ;

Excellent position right in town. Restaurants, pubs, supermarket, and the beach are all within a 5 minute walking distance radius. The managers were excellent, giving us advice on where to eat, as well as lending us some toys to keep our 18 month year old happy!

It was a great time also our engagement almost got spilt due to the older lady at the front desk when we checked in. Lucky my parents wasn’t listening to what she said… Overall we loved thala and will be back. Thanks for the great experience!

Very helpful owners. Loved the kitchen and availability of the big fridge

The room was comfortable and the hotel is close to the supermarket and not far from the centre of the town but still relatively quiet.

A great place to experience the Daintree.

Great place to stay. Friendly, helpful, clean. Lovely brekkie. Recommend.

This place is fantastic if you love being close to nature and enjoy the sounds of wildlife while you are going to sleep and as soon as you wake. It's a perfect location for walking in Daintree and the staff and food are amazing. The night walk is great and allows you to see lots of wildlife that you wouldn't see if you were out on your own. There is lots of amphibian, reptile and invertebrate life living in the overhead canopy that leads you to your room so have a look at night with a...

Peppers is an amazing resort that is the perfect getaway for families. Their lagoon pool is

We were very impressed with this hotel. Lovely welcoming staff make a trip so much more enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, and plenty of room for your own food. TV has a few austar channels and there is a DVD player for which you can borrow dvds from the kiosk for free. Pool area and bbq were very clean. Mel, the new owner, was very happy to help when I called to ask about local weather warnings and holiday opening times of local shops for...

The Sea Temple is a lovely hotel with a great relaxing atmosphere, well looked after facilities, modern rooms (not to forget the incredible spa bath) and fantastic food! I extended my stay twice as I couldn't have enough of this hotel! The location was great, only a short drive to the main stretch of port douglous. I would rate this hotel 10/10 with the only negative being the service delivered by room service. Twice parts of our order was missing although this wasn't a problem, the room...

You know how you're often disappointed after arriving at a venue that you've booked online? This is NOT one of those venues! What a spectacular location. Shantara Resort was everything we'd hoped for and more. Fantastic facilities, very clean and well cared for. All staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Handy to the centre of town, marina and beach - we had a car but didn't need it at all. Extra bonus of being a child free venue - very peaceful! We had an amazing time and will...
