"Amazing place surrounded by rainforest! Individual units with screened windows was perfect to keep the bugs out but not the sounds of birds and rain. Staff was fantastic!"

"Our stay at CapeTrib Farmstay was a trip back to nature. It gave us peace, relaxation and home comforts and all secluded within the farms ripening fruit trees. The cabin had an air conditioned bedroom a funtional bathroom and the extended canopy provided cover for comfy seating and a kitchen with gas burners and fridge freezer in an open air environment. Our Host Sam provided us with a fresh picked fruit platter which was a delight and he was very helpful with local knowledge and his kindness shone. The local shops and beaches were all just a short walk or drive. This is not a fancy 5 star luxury accomodation but it does give you a 5 star smile. We can highly recommend this if you enjoy the outdoor life and fancy a unique opportunity to stay on a working fruit farm. You will leave rejuvinated after a happy experience."

"Under the circumstances with our stay being post cyclone Jasper, we were very pleased with accommodation being a safe, secure, well maintained in a beautiful location in Daintree. Our host, Greg, was knowledgeable, accommodating and served us substantial meals twice a day. We enjoyed listening to his various, adventurous life experiences.He took us for a walk on the property, where he is growing various types of tropical fruit which we were able to pick and eat. There is fresh water pool that was available to cool off and protect us from the elements with a covered roof and netting to keep out any unwanted critters. Everything on this property has been build incredibly solid! When we were in a pinch to get to the Daintree river, as we did not have a vehicle, he offered us a ride there. It is definitely best to have be independent with a vehicle at this location. Thank you for an excellent stay. It was one of our highlights visiting this area in Australia. "

"There are no words to describe the experience of staying here. The listing looked too good to be true. Even after we walked through door and checked out the surroundings, to the tune of cricket song, it felt like we stepped into another dimension so different from our tired, stressed-out reality. It is rare to find such clean, safe, first-world luxury in the middle of a prehistoric rainforest! And Jacquie thought of everything to ensure we were well prepared for our visit - she was so responsive and detailed in her responses! All the stunning reviews about this magical place filled with local art and the songs of nature are all true! Our visit to this special part of the world, where "the Rainforest meets the Reef" would not have been as comfortable, easy or luxurious had we not chosen to stay at Jacquie's. If all this were not enough our family was gifted with a close encounter with a cassowary who we met on the bottom of the driveway... it walked up to us, like the neighborhood pet, gave us a long look and then walked slowly away."

"Great room. Depending on what room you have it could get a little noisy if you have noisy neighbors since some have 3~4 rooms sharing walls. The Tide Resturants is amazing one of the best food we have had. We got the special, crispy salmon and chefs bowl with barramundi. So good so we had it again the next night. Non of the other Resturants open for dinner looked that great. "

"The B&B is in an excellent location in the Daintree very close to the ferry and easy to get to with a rental car. We were greeted upon arrival and given a lovely tour of the B&B. The host was very kind and eager to help us with directions and local recommendations in the Daintree area. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and catered to dietary restrictions. We loved sitting on the patio overlooking the front of the property as the sun went down and the sounds of the rainforest came to life. It is very much an eco B&B with rain water for drinking and limited electricity (dim indoor lighting, ask for boiling water, no hair dryer, etc…) I would recommend staying for at least one night to experience the Daintree! "
