"Nice staff. TV in room didn't work. Found out late evening and only stayed one night reported at check out but shouldn't have been given out in first place "

"On arrival the foyer area looks very nice and modern. We had plenty of time to look at it as there was no staff on the reception desk. We pressed the ring doorbell style button and waited for a few mins as other staff buzzed around without acknowledging us. Eventually 2 people came to reception and we were checked in by a distracted individual. My first comment on entering the room was 'corporate'. Basic and functional. We were pretty close to reception on the ground floor and it was a very noisy evening. It quietened down just after midnight. We also had to contend with noisy TVs from other rooms late into the evening. There was a random dirty spoon in our room on the desk and the bath tub moved when I was taking a shower and the TV only worked once during our stay. There was also an early morning fire alarm which sounded for 30 seconds then stopped. The food is the thing that resulted in the stars for this review. The dinner menu was varied and the food was very nice. Very quick service. Under an hour for all 3 courses but their alterior motive was to get the table back which they quickly told us the second we finished our desserts. Breakfast was also very good. Basic cold selection but the cooked breakfast was very nice. Staff across the venue were very hit and miss. Some were brilliant and taking pride in their work. Others just gave you the impression you were an inconvenience for them. Unfortunately wouldn't stay again."

"Very tired hotel. Tv didn’t work in the room, the shower leaked onto the floor, the breakfast buffet(although the food was delicious) was a bit of a sad affair and it was often difficult to find a member of staff which made us feel like a bit of an inconvenience at times. The swimming pool was adequate but again the staff insisted that we only took one towel per person. Just lacked class at times!"

"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and overall had a very good experience. Unfortunately, on the first day there was an issue with the boilers, so we did not have hot water. Since we had an important meeting, it was quite an inconvenient situation for us. However, we would really like to thank Ms. Jade M, who did her absolute best to help us and make the situation easier. Her kindness, professionalism, and support were truly appreciated. Aside from this issue, the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was very good with high-quality food, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely consider staying here again."

"Greeted at reception and checked in quickly and efficiently. Room very tired and outdated definitely in need of updating however very clean. The heater on the wall barely worked so the room was rather cold and no way of making the room warmer! Shower if a good pressure but temperature fluctuated from very hot to very cold this needs sorting out. Tea and coffee provided and a full length mirror. Lighting a bit 80’s but serviceable. Breakfast good though would have liked it cooked fresh as it was barely warm when served. Though nice choice of breakfast items. Shout out to Doreen - what a lovely lady and all the staff in the restaurant all very obliging and friendly. "
