"This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking.
This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn.
Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. When we checked out, I had the email confirmation from Expedia which stated it had been...

"Beautiful hotel set in amazing grounds. Staff were so friendly and immaculately dressed. Room was large and well equipped with everything you required for a comfortable stay. Hotel is close proximity to Ayr town centre. Breakfast was exceptional with a great choice and was of great quality products. First time I have been at this hotel but already planning a return trip. "
