Stayed for a week. Really nice rooms and balconies. AC worked really well. No problems with hot water. Small pool but nice ocean view balcony. Hotel lobby really nice. Free bicycle rental a huge plus. Breakfast every morning a huge plus, great food! I would stay again.

We love cyntia!! She greet us super happy every morning at breakfast and helped us with everything we needed , she was always positive and willing to help everyone, also mari at the egg station ,she was super nice , we love our family at casa mexicana ,and cant forget our friend at the bar and pool area monica she was juat wonderful ❤️ me and my and my partner cant wait to come back to our second home in cozumel ! This trip in May was our third to Casa Mexicana, have already booked our next visit. I was trying to compare the pros and cons but i couldn't come up with any cons. Highlights, breakfast is great not a continental, omelets, eggs to order, pancakes fruit etc. Having stayed in 9 different hotels and all-inclusive properties this is the cleanest. We really like the location, restaurants and shopping, including grocery store and convenience stores. Not a party vibe but the pool can get kind of fun. The pool is small but adequate and heated. Enjoy your stay

Great location, A/C was cold, breakfast good, and free. All within walking distance, if not, taxis were plentyful to take you wherever you needed to get to. Only downfall was the towels and sheets were a little on the rough side. Other than that, no complaints...was an awesome stay for our anniversary...

I have been traveling to Cozumel for an annual diving trip for at least 12 years -- of which I have been staying at this hotel for the past 8-9 years. The staff remembers you. You can always determine a hotel is good when the staff stays on for years.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The employees were awesome! We enjoyed getting to know them. The ocean view was beautiful. We loved that everything was walkable and if needed plenty of cabs outside. Will definitely stay here again. Miss it already!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were awesome. The hotel was very clean. My rooms were great. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that I did not like was from 0700-1100. The breakfast staff used stainless steel utensils. This area caused these steel utensils, especially the steel spatula used to make omelets echo throughout the area. I was woken up each morning by these loud banging sounds and I was on the 5th floor. I met 13 people on my dive excursions that stayed at your hotel in the past. They all really had great things to say. They also stated that they will not stay there again due to this noise. PLEASE consider changing your cooking utensils to Teflon utensils. This will make your hotel much quieter during breakfast.

What we loved about this property was how centralized it was to the things we like. We stayed 5 days. We were right across the water and with a balcony we had an awesome ocean view. Right below us was a 7-11 and a pharmacy. So we could get bottles of water or cheap food at any hour of the day. The pharmacy was great since I forgot my sleep medication. You don’t need a prescription and can get just about anything you can imagine. We went to a different coffee shop every day and a different restaurant every day. They had a small breakfast buffet in the hotel. It had a good selection of food and closed late. At 11 am. You can order eggs any style including omelets made by an employee. I highly recommend Denys restaurant, la chosa and la misión were also great. They were all within a few blocks of hotel. We tried others near by but they were not so good. My wife is Mexican so we knew what was great or just ok. The hotel staff was super friendly. The pool had a small bar so we could drink in the pool. The water was heated so it was very comfortable. You really don’t need a rental car unless you want to see the island and then I recommend a buggy. That’s what we did. They’re just cooler to ride in. You do need to know how to drive stick. I recommend a scooter more because parking was an issue. The 7-11 had an atm but it’s only in pesos. When we were there it was roughly $6 for every 100 Mexican pesos.

Great property, the breakfast each day was amazing. The coffee is just “okay” but can’t complain too much. The room was very clean, the hotel is an ideal location near downtown, I had a very pleasant stay.

Great, reasonably priced, friendly hotel in the heart of Cozumel.The rooms were comfortable, (we had an ocean-front/view room) and the housecleaning and front desk staff were wonderful.The team that worked together to provide the buffet breakfast each morning were simply amazing!

Stayed from Thursday to Sunday - in town with my partner and my daughter (she had her own room)) for a Quinceanera. Pros: The A/C worked. The location was great - was able to walk to most places I wanted to go and it was nice having the 7/11 steps away. I en Jo yes the view from my patio. Cons: The room was small. The bathroom was small. The water pressure was practically non-existent. The noise from breakfast in the morning was loud and prevented us from sleeping past like 7. The pool is tiny. To get a towel for the pool, you have to give your ID to the front desk and in order to get it back you have to return your towel to the front desk. There are only two towels provided in the room. No to-go cups for water or coffee. Never had breakfast there, so can’t speak to that other than the noise. Don’t find the staff to be overly helpful or accommodating. Overall, I won’t stay here again. I would prefer a condo or air BnB if I am going to stay in town.

Great central location. An easy walk to almost everything. Large modern rooms with a great view Oceanside, worth the extra cost. Great breakfast buffet with eggs any way you want it and fresh fruit. Only negative was very poor wifi in the rooms and on the balcony. Extremely frustrating, otherwise a great place.

5 minutes walk to the hotel and absolutely Love it. Clean, customer service was great, bar was nice lady in the morning makes best margaritas and mojitos. Room was comfortable, clean and pretty. Pool was also nice and nice view. Free breakfast also has a variety and good food. We definitely recommended.

Very clean hotel with very nice room. I had an ocean view on the 5th floor. Breakfasts were great and the staff was super helpful. Absolutely recommend.

Coming from El Cozumeleno, this small hotel surpasses the nasty Cozumeleno. Casa Mexicana is extremely clean, with beautiful and immaculate modern rooms with pretty furniture and comfortable beds. The breakfast was outstanding and the service espectacular. Front desk personal very professional and friendly. The price is very good. I will stay here again and would be glad to recommend to friends and family.

WARNING The cleaning staff are very dishonest and will steal whatever they can! We had asked for a late checkout and had a Do Not Disturb sign on our door as we decided to take part of our luggage to our next hotel!! When we returned back to the room the cleaning staff went through bags that we had left, and helped themselves!! When we returned we confronted the staff and found our property on the cleaning cart!! Management was unhelpful, and offered zero help!!! Warning do not stay at this hotel!!!!
