"We had a lovely stay at Herdshill Guest House. Easy to find, easy to park and a really friendly, helpful and welcoming owner. Everything was spotlessly clean, we had a big room for 3 adults with a bathroom and great shower - plenty of hot water. The bedroom was spacious with large windows so the room was light and airy, even though we stayed during a mini-heatwave! The house is beautiful, we sat in the comfortable lounge reading our books and also went for a walk on the disused railway opposite the house. The beds were comfortable and we all slept very well. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, plenty of food, tea and coffee, all served with a lovely friendly manner. We especially enjoyed the potato scones - first time we had eaten them! We would definitely recommend this place, we stopped here on our way back from the Hebrides to Bristol and it was the perfect break."
