The property was good considering the downturn in the local economy due to firstly Covid, then the storms of early 2003 causing so much highway damage, now all repaired.

The most welcoming hotel we have stayed during our month long trip in New Zealand . David the owner was so helpful and booked restaurants for us and loaned us beach towels at nil coast . He made us feel incredibly welcome

There were two chairs outside each doir to sit and sip. They provided a bottle of milk when you checked in for your coffee and tea. The room was a little dated, but clean and supplied with everything we needed and it was a nice walk to restaurants.

Great place to stay
Great little motel. The couple running it are fabulous. So sweet and friendly. The room was very spacious and everything was clean. Very quiet and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Nice little basket of complimentary goodies and milk for tea.

It was a great place to stay internet could be a bit patchy but think that is everywhere up way anyway. There was a nice touch to have thw little welcome bowl of goodies. Only netural comment i would have is that like many moteliers they dont commit to attending activities in their own back yard and so cant advise or provide infor.ation to customers

Thanks for such a fabulous stay! It was a lovely, clean, comfortable room and the owner/manager was so friendly and welcoming. Loved all the Sky channels and close enough for an easy stroll into town, but far enough away for some peace and quiet. I would definitely come back.

Comfortable stay in Coromandel Town, well located in town. Walking distance to pubs, eateries and shops. First place in NZ to offer a cold beverage on arrival after traveling within aotearoa for 10 years now.

Great stay
Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a nice big 2 bedroom unit and there was lots of room. Very close walk to shops and cafes/restaurants. Plus a car park right outside our door with outdoor table and chairs
