"Really well decorated and maintained property. Christmas tree and hamper a lovely seasonal touch. Very accommodatimg host who agreed to a later check out time without additional charge. Only issues were some noise from neighbours upstairs (which is often the case in houses converted into flats) and whilst the flat was generally very clean some vacuuming had been missed when it had last been cleaned."

"Arrived and the staff were very busy, so had to wait 15 minutes to check in. The menu wasn't to our liking, and the pub part was OK to sit in for a one night stay, but we needed a more comfortable seating arrangement to relax in. The hotel itself and staff were fab, the location too."

"Absolutely — I’ve polished the review while keeping your original points and balanced, honest tone. 👍 My stay at the hotel was for business purposes, and I had a double room on the second floor. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and it was attended to daily, with the mineral water replenished each day. The only very minor issue I experienced was that the room became quite cold as the weather changed. I had to ask the staff to turn the heating on in my room, which I found slightly unusual for the middle of October. However, the staff were very attentive and dealt with this promptly, as they did with any other queries I had during my stay. Another very minor observation was that there wasn’t a bin in the foyer. On one occasion, I had to ask the receptionist if I could dispose of some rubbish in her bin. I had breakfast and an evening meal each day and could not fault the food. The restaurant staff were lovely, friendly and seemed to have time for everyone. I also noticed them taking particular care to assist guests who had mobility difficulties, which was very nice to see. My only concern during my stay was one afternoon when I was seated in the foyer. I saw four youths come down the stairs and begin trying to open doors. It was apparent that they were not there for any legitimate reason. As I kept an eye on them, they soon left the building. Unfortunately, there were no security staff nearby at the time, and the receptionists were busy assisting guests who we"

When is the best time to go to Colwyn Bay?
The best time to visit Colwyn Bay is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is at its most pleasant, and all attractions are fully operational.During this period, you'll find the warmest temperatures, with average highs around 18-20°C (64-68°F), making it ideal for enjoying the beach and outdoor activities. The longer daylight hours mean more time for exploring the Welsh coastline and the many local events and festivals that take place. Families often find July and August particularly convenient due to school holidays and the full schedule of activities available, from watersports on the bay to exploring the Welsh Mountain Zoo.If you prefer a quieter experience with fewer crowds and don't mind slightly cooler temperatures, late spring (April-May) or early autumn (September-October) can also be lovely. The weather is still generally mild, and the scenery is beautiful, especially with the spring blossoms or autumn colours. This time is often preferred by couples seeking a more tranquil getaway, perhaps enjoying coastal walks or visiting historic sites without the peak season bustle. Many hotels and restaurants also offer better value outside of the main summer season.
