Our stay at Spylaw Bank House was our first night in UK. David our host was so keen to please and help us. We arrived late in the day and he booked us into a local restaurant for dinner, showed us to our room, explained everything we needed to know. We woke to the fresh and fragrant smell of the flora/trees outside our window. Our home cooked full breakfast was really good and fresh pressed coffee. Spylaw Bank House was easy to find, close the village, quiet and restful. Loved our stay.

Can’t say enough good things about this property, especially the chap on reception. Give him a pay rise, so friendly and helpful. Super easy to get into town on a bus from this location. Located in a beautiful area.

Beautiful buildings, very comfortable rooms with every comfort. Staff are very helpful. Great breakfast choices. Perfect location and car parking available. Easy access to city by bus and airport. Would stay again definitely.

Clean rooms and helpful staff

We stayed for 3 nights (weekend) in Nov 2016 and found it a great place to stay. The staff were great and helpful. The location was very convenient for tourists to access nearby attractions. The apartment we had was very spacious and had a lot of features, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. We were provided a welcome pack on arrival with a number of breakfast type items including bread, cereal, etc. We only needed to get a couple of items from the nearby store to have enough for our...

Wonderful place to stay with modern facilities, helpful staff.

Great location in the old town. Staff were amazing, helpful and happy. Rooms were exceptionally comfortable and included breakfast was brilliant. Meals were good and outside deck for an afternoon drink very enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again - been travelling for 7 weeks and best property we have stayed at.

The Roseate was a beautiful property and the staff were excellent. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived and had no issues with parking, baggage or settling in. The location was adjacent to bus services into Edinburgh city centre and within walking distance to train services, convenience stores and cafes / pubs etc. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Roseate if you are headed to Edinburgh

A very well appointed apartment hotel in a quiet but central location. Good facilities including a kitchenette and washing machine. Reasonably spacious layout for a studio apartment. Large well designed bathroom with plenty of storage space. My only criticism was that the wooden floor felt a bit sticky underfoot as though it needed a good wash and when i looked under the bed to retreive a dropped item there was a build up of dust. Friendly young staff.
