"What a lovely hotel - couldn't fault it. Had never heard of the brand of hotel before, but all was good. Very quiet hotel so had a peaceful sleep. We eat there too and again, couldn't fault the food or staff - would definitely use this brand of hotel again"

"The ambiance of the hotel was very welcoming and it was what it said, a Tudor building. It was what we wanted, Quirky. All the staff were excellent, friendly and most helpful. The only negative was that the street outside was very noisy at night but that is not the fault of the hotel as we were in the centre of Colchester. Over all it was a very positive experience. "

"I arrived at the property on 30/3/24 at around 3am as I decided not to return to London with the persons I arrived with. I was stranded. Can’t remember the person in receptions name but he was very patient and helpful with me as I tried to payment in which I finally did. Thank you once again for being great at your job Tina"
