"The setting was perfect, the description of a woodland retreat was spot on. We loved sitting gazing out at the squirrels playing in the trees and were lucky enough to have them come up to the door and peer in. After leaving out almonds for them we had daily visits.Seagulls Rest was beautifully styled, it felt welcoming and cosy. Thank.you to Tina who was so helpful with our enquiries. "An amazing hotel in a beautiful setting and we will certainly revisit one day without hesitation. The only downside for me would be the dinner menu which was a bit uninspiring and safe. Saying that, they do have a lot of people staying so I guess it needs to be a functional menu, St Ives offers many restaurants so if you are after a bit of flare, wander down into the main town."

"The fishermen's cottage in St Ives was delightful to stay in. It was beautifully cleaned, roomy and close to everything in St Ives. The kitchen was really well equipped and it was nice to have the garden to sit in at drinks time!"

"The property's location was highly advantageous, offering convenient pedestrian access to beachside dining establishments and cultural institutions. However, the building itself is quite aged, and the elevator functionality was inconsistent. Furthermore, the breakfast offerings were rather unremarkable, with limited choices available."

"This was my second stay at the Green Apple. The owners are very helpful and friendly. My room was very comfortable and clean. Parking was no problem as there are spaces along the road at the side of the hotel. The hotel is situated quite close to Carbis Bay railway station and the journey to St Ives by rail is about three minutes. You can walk into St Ives via a footpath, which takes about 30-40 minutes. It's mostly downhill so it takes a bit longer on the way back."
