"We didn’t give the hotel an excellent because the elevators were awfully slow. Yes, we were boarding a ship so were all the other guests at the hotel. Otherwise a beautiful hotel. One of the best breakfasts we’ve experienced!! Much variety of breakfast items, and all were delicious!!"

"Staff was super nice. Room was clean. Our only issue was a lumpy mattress on the pull out couch. Otherwise, very convenient to the cruise ship and stores."

"The family room was very large with a separate kids room with 2 bunk beds and a tv. The room had a faint smell of smoke and the building was a little dated. But very comfortable"

"Hotels can always be a little noisy but when You allocate famalies with small children.in the rooms above single rooms it's not exceptable to be woke up at 5 am in the morning with childen stomping about on the floor and having to phone reception to complain .maybe just a thought on your part would make the stay more pleasurable Sincerely Anthony room 39"

"This was our third stay at the Kings arms in Christchurch, and another enjoyable experience. The Hotel is ideally located in the town and a short walk from the quay. The staff at check in and the restaurant are always friendly and helpful. The rooms vary in size depending on the type booked, but those we have stayed in have always been clean and well appointed. Nice little touches include a fridge with complimentary bottled water, fresh milk and biscuits. Breakfast is outstanding and there is ample free Hotel parking. We have stayed in other Hotels in Christchurch over the years, but The Kings arms is the nicest all things considered."
