"We had an authentic Japanese experience staying here. The location was perfect - the house was on a quiet street while still being very close to the main attractions in the Gion area. The interior was beautiful, clean and well insulated with heated floors and AC in each room. Beds were very comfortable and the upstairs living offered a lovely veiw of the Yasaka Pagoda. "We had an amazing 3 day stay at Art Mon Zen. From the moment we arrived to leaving, the staff were exceptional and extremely attentive. Probably the best hotel stay in Japan. Overall, the room was very comfortable and relaxing after a long day visiting all the sensational sights in Kyoto. "This was a very nice stay. The room was beautiful, exactly what we were looking for. The bathroom was very nice and clean. We loved the sub room! Staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel was in the center of the gion district which was very convenient for some of the attractions we wanted to see. We only stayed for 2 nights but truly wish we could've stayed longer.
