This hotel was the perfect location if you’re ready to shop and eat in Kyoto! Right in the heart of it all and walkable to pretty much everything. The staff was amazing and assisted with our luggage transfer to our next location making it easy and super efficient. Clean room, comfortable, and exceptional staff. The hotel itself was very clean on the inside. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful, they explained how luggage shipping services work, and did the shipping process to one of my next hotels One thing I was surprised about was the amount of trash and litter outside the hotel in the surrounding areas I think from over-tourism (which is out of the hotels control). Overall highly recommend this hotel, it’s in a central and great location, and it’s clean and comfortable
