Really nice area - super quiet but not too far from Gion and Shijo for shopping and dining - on-site umbrella rentals were really convenient for rain - rooms were modern, fairly large, and nice to stay in

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Short walk to Nishiki Market made it easy to get a quick lunch. Staff was all so friendly and willing and help. The rooms were very clean and the longue was a relaxing spot to wind down.

Hotel is good and clean. Rooms are large for Japan standard. The hotel is not as close to attractions in Kyoto as it is made out to be. Add an extra 10 mins to get to major attractions by walking. Despite handing over my passport with my name on it, hotel staff checked me into someone else’s room and I only found out because the welcome card in the room had someone else’s name on it. I had already unpacked my belongings and after informing the staff of the welcome card, they confirmed they had checked me into the wrong room. After traveling, it was an inconvenience to pack up and change rooms and did not make check-in smooth despite having assistance with transferring my bags. Furthermore while reception is 24/7, the staff were almost never at the front desk. Always had to ring the bell (sometimes the bell wasn’t even on the counter) for staff attendance. The hotel does have coffee, juice, water, and bread available for breakfast, however, things were not topped up on time and again had to wait for staff attendance. Stay would be better if staff were more attentive and proactive.

とても綺麗で、広め。快適でした。ロケーションもよく、周辺にたくさんお店があり、近くにコンビニもあり。ただ、エクスペディアのマップが間違えており、住所や、ホテル名で検索して確認をオススメします。 軽い朝食を出してくれますが、パンと飲み物です。 機会があればまた泊まりたいです！

The hotel is modern with lovely interior design. Staff are very nice and helpful. Located close to a train station. Blue Bottle coffee is just down the road and a friendly bike rental shop is around the corner. Highly recommend to hire a bike to go around the city.
