"Love: - Truly a beautiful hotel - Staff is fantastic - Oval Room food is really fantastic overall - Great value for the price - Illy coffee machine near the main lobby is a nice touch — would be even better if it was complimentary until noon! Don’t love: - On both of my visits, all maintenance work seems to run through the main grand lobby. Surely there’s a better way to move workers and materials without constant exposure to guests. - I pre-arranged delivery of their signature cake to my room. It never came. Not a huge deal — I took it home — but that shouldn’t happen. - My bed was lopsided and uncomfortable. - Hallways on most floors feel like prison corridors. Grey and drab — a jarring contrast to the beautiful main floor and mezzanine. - The rooms could use a refresh. They’re in good condition but there’s zero colour or personality. I noticed the same thing on my visit several years ago."

"Great location right downtown - the building has a lot (A LOT) of security - staying with colleagues who were all on different floors - u cannot access any floor ur not staying on - so to have a work meeting u need to use the lobby (which is great!) or meet I. The lobby and go to a room together (also Don try to avoid this by using the stairs! We got trapped in the stairwells) Room was great. Wifi was hit and miss depending on demand. Would have liked better coffee options IN the lobby but we found some close by. Staff were all helpful and lovely :)"

"If you set your expectations to ‘okay’ you’ll be satisfied. The hotel is older but has the basics. It offers a comfortable bed, comfortable pillows, in room coffee and a good shower. Breakfast is included with the morning paper. All the staff were lovely. Being centrally located to the major attractions was an added bonus. Easy to get around walking, and using transit and UBER. The downside was a fitness room in disrepair, not an issue for summer travel but would have been a real drag in the winter months."

"I found the rooms to be kept in very good order, clean and organized. We had our coffee machine, microwave and fridge together so there was no going back and forth. We had an ironing board, iron and hair dryer. ANOTHER BIG PLUS they had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and lotion in big bottles so we didn't have to being ours along. I asked for wheelchair accessible shower but none were available. That was disappointing! The room and entrance was wheelchair accessible. My only dislike was mom couldn't go to the pool because that wasn't wheelchair accessible. The pool and hot tub were lovely and were available from 10 (am) in the morning till 11 pm at night. So there was lots of swim time. Our rooms weren't restocked and cleaned. That would have been nice but otherwise excellent stay! Handicap parking was good. I wish they has more spots because they filled up fast. But overall excellent! They has a free breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed - scrambled eggs & breakfast sausage, -Belgian waffles or smaller ones if you liked - toast and jam - an assortment of fruit - orange or apple juice, coffee or tea - in the fridge they had hard boiled eggs, yogurt, red and green apples, whipped cream and syup They staff were always cleaning and assisting. I'd definitely stay there again!"
