"This is a grand old house, well-kept and beautiful on the Messina waterfront. It was really fun to stay here and we partied on the rooftop terrace until late, enjoying the night view and watching the ships come and go in the harbor. It’s a 15 minute walk to downtown shopping but there is a light rail train that stops right out front. There are some restaurants nearby. We loved the charm. "

"Town House Cavour lived up to its promise. New and modern interior. Large bath and comfortable bed. Good a/c adequate for the space. Large armoire/closet with drawers, shelves and hanging space so we could fully unpack and stow away the empty suitcases. Steps from the piazza del duomo and the pedestrian street where there were shopping, bars and restaurants. Our host gave us good recommendations for restaurants to try and things to do. I highly recommend it."

"The hotel was really cute and the room was very big with a beautiful view of the ocean. Just a few minute walk to the beach. The upstairs apartment had a kitchen also. And breakfast was great. Lorenz was very kind and helpful. "

"A little tricky to find, this is a good hotel for a quick stay over in Messina. They utilize key codes which is super convenient for late or early arrivals, and the rooms are super spacious. It would make life easier if they did add more signage to help locate the hotel. "

"This was our second stay at the B&B. It's very convenient to shopping, food, and the water. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Provides a simple breakfast. "

"We stayed here for a few days in October. Maybe 2 days is enough to see everything in this town. The collection of paintings confiscated from a local mafioso is well worth seeing. Shopping street is OK and we went to a nice vegetarian restaurant."

"The house was a perfect fit for our family trip to Italy. We enjoyed the location that happened to be centrally located to both family and the city. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean. Enough room to unpack and move around. The extra bedroom / bathroom that is separate from the main worked for us. Three bathroom was an added plus. "Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. Staff were helpful, you got a welcome drink too. As a gold member we got an upgrade but not sure on its improvement over standard one. Worse view and same interior. Bed was quite...
