"The location to the castle is 2 nd to none. A 5 minute walk is all it takes to be at the castle. We booked for Bastille Day. Spent the day walking around . We had lunch then returned to 514 , showered and changed. Returned to the castle for supper . Watched the fireworks display which was breathtaking. Fantastic location.The room was clean and equipped with fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee maker ( one pod machine and also a filter machine) Well worth a visit and great value for money."

"Visitors need to understand that taking the city bus is a viable alternative for those without a car. Our taxi never arrived at the train station, so we walked. A memorable walk, but a little more gruelling than necessary."

"Hotel is ideally situated to visit both the new city centre and the Medieval Cite, with lots of things to do an places to eat within walking distance. The apartment that we stayed in was clean and spacious and perfect for a two day visit. Sophie was very kind and helpful. Would stay there again if we were visiting Carcasonne."
"My husband and I visited Carcassonne for a couple of days and we chose this hotel with half board. The location is excellent, very clean and convenient. The half board consisted of a decent breakfast and buffet dinner. The room was a bit small but otherwise this was an excellent deal. "Lovely small and quiet hotel, just a few steps outside the city walls of old Carcassonne. Easy to get to from the airport by bus. We didn't have, or need a car.
Friendly staff. Bar is open all day for hot/cold drinks and snacks.
Only minor criticism of the room was that there was no fridge although to be fair, the room was quite small and there was not really space for one."
