"We chose the Barca Charm House for its location, family friendliness and wonderful reviews. Each review referred to the hospitality of our hosts and I have to agree with previous reviewers, Sandra and Eduardo were exceptional. The house is comfortable and fully equipped. There was everything you could possibly need and so much more. The only item we were unable to bring with us was a potty for our 2 year old. Sandra was immediately on the case and brought a brand new potty round which was so helpful! There is so much to see and do in the area that a week just wasn’t long enough. We left with heavy hearts. Our family are spread out over the world and time spent together is very precious. We made many happy memories in the Charm house. Thank you Sandra and Eduardo. Wishing you both health and happiness. "What a magical place! It’s like you stepped back in time when you arrive at this Quinta, surrounded by lush gardens. The woman who owns it grew up there and has so many fascinating stories to share about the house. Although it’s down a narrow gravel road, it’s easily accessible by car, Uber, and even Uber eats if you decide to order in. On the day we were without a car, were able to walk to the main road where there is a bus service to a lot of the sites in Sintra—though it was hard to leave the enchanting property. And my 8 year old son wanted me to mention that he found a lizard in the bathroom and had a lot of fun and the lizard was super cute."
