"This place is immaculate. The host is genuine and so kind. Very peaceful and calm during the night. And free to enter and exit as you please. The living room and kitchen are super welcoming and spacious for everyone—you're free to use the kitchen like it's your own, and there's plenty of room to hang out. "The hosts' home is very quaint and cozy. It is airy and bright with lots of space for families, couples, or singles. The town of Colares is ideally located to be able to easily drive to the beaches, Obidos, Cabo da Roca, Sintra, Lisbon, or Cascais - all great places to visit while there and all so close. If you are not driving, buses to all of those places are easy to get."

"Loved our stay. Beautiful room, with balcony and mountains view. Be aware, if you have big luggage, they have a few stairs to go up if you booked a room on the second floor. The rest was perfect, location, plenty of restaurants near by, bars, the weather was perfect. Only down side, some people were a bit dirty, leaving the bathroom dirty BUT the staff took well care of cleaning everyday. Staff was very helpful. When we arrived, they had a breakdown with the wifi for two days but they corrected it as soon as possible. Loved our stay, strongly recommend!"

"We had a lovely stay at Barca Charm House! Sandra was in touch before we arrived, and was there with a very warm welcome at check in. She was very communicative and made sure we had a lovely stay. The location is ideal - easy access to the coast, Sintra, Cascais and easy to get into Lisbon. The house was able to easily accommodate 6 adults and 2 kids. Having the outdoor seating area was lovely - especially for morning breakfast. Would happily stay again!"
