"Great location. Easy and quick to get to downtown Baddeck. Rooms were clean and nice. Beds were comfortable. TV was a Smart TV so we could stream. Complimentary breakfast was very nice. Staff was very helpful. Wifi was not working 100%. Kept going in and out."

"Staff was exceptional. Room overall was clean. Beds were comfortable. It was nice have the restaurant right next to us and the beach only a short walk away. The TV was a Smart TV so we could stream. The only down side of our stay was that the wifi did not work. Would recommend and would stay here again."

"The room was extremely clean, bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the power went out during the night and we were unable to get coffee or breakfast. Not the fault of the motel. Otherwise had a very comfortable stay., Highly recommended"

"We took 21 rooms for two nights. Being vegetarian we had to cater food in. The staff went out of way and opened conference room for us to use for dinners."

"The hotel was very clean, bed was super comfortable and the staff was amazing as always, stayed here several times over the years …. The reality is the property is getting quite dated, the hotel has been open since 1961 and it definitely shows, with the proper updating this would once again be a top rated premium destination in Baddeck."

"We stayed in the Kingfisher room. Very clean, renovated room. Great sized room with microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge. Comfy king size bed. Great to park right outside the room. Beautiful view of the water. Super friendly staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."
