"Our host and owner (Carmen) is courteous and welcoming. We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. Her hotel is very clean and charmingly decorated. I loved the experience of being in an Inn that has been in operation since 1785. Being so close to the waterfront and downtown amenities was a plus as well. Will definitely stay here again! "

"This is a really dirty and rundown hotel, the pictures are nothing like what the hotel really looks like. We checked in and stayed for 2 hours before deciding to ask for a refund and look for another hotel. The carpets are stained and were crunchy when walking on them, the mattress was stained, the washroom was lined with mold and mildew, our toilet wouldn't flush, a line of mildew covered the bottom of the tub. I took pictures of everything and submitted them to Expedia for a refund. Thankfully the staff was great and very understanding. I asked for a refund, they offered me another room, unfortunately they do not have an elevator so that meant climbing stairs and I was travelling with elderly folks who are not able to do that."
