Duck Cove Inn

Duck Cove Inn

8/10 Good
"This is an older small hotel that is run by a very nice couple. The room were renovated and clean, plus the beds and pillows are very comfy. Every room has a view of the river, which is nice. We were doing the Cabot trail and this met our needs. The breakfast was very good at the on site restaurant (they serve breakfast only), but there are a few other places to eat close by that were great."

"Nice location, lots of space. I looked around thoroughly in the space for cleaning issues as we were travelling with kids. We did find mice droppings in the cutlery drawer and other kitchen drawers which means a fail. Under beds, couch etc filthy. Any accomodation needs frequent deep cleaning and it looks like the are skipping this. Rodent issues need to be addressed. General cleanliness is below standard and needs to be taken care of. Otherwise a nice property."

"My family and I had a fantastic time at Gert and Gus’s place! It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The property is amazing - make sure you take the walk down to the river for a truly magical moss-covered forest floor experience! My two young children (7 and 2) really enjoyed their stay as well. Highly recommend!"
