"Clean room, staff were great! Property was a bit older"

"Very quiet, had a great sleep. Easy parking at this super safe well priced hotel. Staff is always helpful and provide useful information on the area. Can be very busy when the golf season gets rolling or very quiet when not in full busy mode on the course. Large TV worked well for NHL playoffs and Blue Jays games. Stay here often. Always receive very good value & get a relaxing, restful night. Great option if you are driving in beautiful CB."

"Overall stay was ok, resort was great with best indoor pool for kids. However the rooms are very old, outdated amenities, our room only one lamp was working, no soap in toilet and beds bugs. I found 5 Bed Bugs. Only worth to visit resort but not recommended for stay."

"I was desperate to love this place. How cool to be able to stay in something like that? First, there was an issue with my reservation. So the owner wasn't really prepared for us. It looks like they are in full construction mode so the area wasn't as neat as could be. His workers had music playing next to our dome, but he addressed it when we texted. There should be a curtain for the door. We make a makeshift one. The tv was missing the remote. The owner addressed it quickly. Unfortunately the wifi didn't work to the dome, so no tv. There wasn't any water for the coffeemaker. And there was a surprise empty Mickie behind the microwave. Great to have these things but missing the mark about paper towel, napkins, plates, utensils. Maybe hand sanitizer since no sink or water. My problem was with the bathroom facilities. You have to go up to the main building to use the washroom. Ok, but if you really have to go, there wasn't anything else. It was also rainy so it was not convenient at all. The owner was great and very friendly, unfortunately not very prepared. Would we stay there again? No. Was it a cool experience? Yes. Would I recommend it? No and I feel sad about that."

"We loved this quiet clean room with its great view. The deck chairs were bright and comfortable. We knew it was off-season so didn't expect the pool but would have appreciated knowing the complimentary breakfast wasn't yet available."

"We had booked in to the Baddeck Domes for our stay but they were not finished being built. This was very disappointing for us. The owner made it right by giving us a full refund for the Domes. We then stayed in the Baddeck motel. The room was tiny, there was mold on the curtains, but the beds were clean and comfortable enough. It looks like they may be doing some renovations on the motel. The staff was the best part of the stay. "
