Only issue we had was we ran out of the jug of purified water two days before we left (when we arrived it was only half full) and the front refused to give us more water. The area was great, lots of restaurants nearby and the ferry plus OXXO convenience store were both within walking distance. Communication and check in was easy and reliable. Plenty of towels etc. Had a great trip! View is unbeatable and the pool was quiet and relaxing.

An excellent option to rest near the beach and without the crowd of other places in Cancun... the apartment is very comfortable and clean, and the best thing is the view and breeze you have ALL day. Near Isla Mujeres ferries, within walking distance, is one of this property's best amenities. Thank you, Roberto, for the hospitality. We enjoyed it a lot!!

This apartment is great! Very quiet. Beautiful balcony that I did not want to leave. This is like staying at a friend’s house! Had everything in kitchen for cooking. The pools are very clean. You can take cabs or a bus in front iof property. . Close to great beaches. Highly recommend. Would love to go back!

I'm from Seattle, met my friend from Wash DC for two weeks at this property. We are quiet and older, and it was perfect for us. Walking distance to local restaurants right on the beach (some literally had the sand as their floors), as well as ferry to Isla Mujeres and several convenience stores. If you're looking for all inclusive glitz this isn't it, but for authentic Mexican flavor it's the best! Oh, and did I mention the magnificent view? We're already planning our next visit...

Spoke with property manager often before vacation which was awesome….check in was a bit challenging, we waited outside property for an hour before we could check in officially. Otherwise everyone was so friendly and helpful! We felt comfortable and safe the entire trip! Thank you for your hospitality!

The view from the condo is simply breathtaking! Perfect place to relax and unwind. They had everything I needed to prepare meals and enjoy my stay. When issues came up, they were very accessible and quick to respond. I felt totally safe staying here alone and would recommend to solo female travelers. The location was a bit outside of town, but Uber and taxis were readily available. The view alone will make this my go to when traveling to the Cancun area!

The wife and I had a tremendously incredible time at this property! Roberto and his son Arturo were very quick to respond to any questions and were able to help us with any needs we had. The neighbors were very helpful as well and we would visit again. So happy that I found the Quintas Del Mar. It was a very short walk past the beach to find shops and restaurants. Taxis and Uber were very reasonable.

This unit was perfect for us. It being on the 2nd floor provided a view that was hard to leave. The location is very walkable. The owner was very generous. The unit was very well stocked with basics, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Then there were the extras! Pool towels, beach stuff! We would return in a heartbeat.

Away from hotel district which we prefer. Walking distance for the ferry to Costa Mujeres. If you love to snorkel use TOTAL SNORKELING which is on the same road as apartment. LEARN to use public transportation so much cheaper. Little bus to downtown Cancun for supermarkets or large bus station for trips to different parts of Cancun. Only complaint I have about apartment was water pressure but no big problem. Will be going back next year to same apartment. Thank you Paddi

The check-in was a bit rough because we had trouble getting our phones to work in Mexico - but that was our bad. Use WhatsApp and contact Monica as soon as you know your ETA and someone will be waiting for you at the condo. These owners/caretakers were amazing. We felt like such honored guests. The condo was so comfortable and the pools/ocean were amazing - you can swim off the dock or in the pools. It does help to speak some Spanish and rent a car. If you sleep on the sofa-bed, use the foam pad they provide - it's pretty comfortable. The Master-bed is HUGE! They brought us drinking water and there were beach towels and the kitchen had everything we needed -- I never knew that I needed a tortilla warmer until we stayed here! The area is safe. The parking/condo is gated. The A/C worked great. We couldn't have been treated better. I miss Patti already!!

Roberto was kind and responsive to questions. He provided great suggestions for activities and places to exchange money. The condo was clean and just the right size. There was even a washer and dryer for us to use. We felt safe and secure in the gated condo area. The pools were clean and cool. We arrived during a tropical storm, which was rough, but we could occupy ourselves in the room, with wifi and TV. Once things calmed down a little, there were plenty of activities within walking distance: a cute beach, restaurants, a ferry to Isla Mujer and (when not under construction) Mayan Ruins. There is also the Jolly Roger Pirate experience a 7 minute drive up the road. A drive to activities in the Hotel zone is about a 15 to 20 minute ride and groceries are close too. Pro tip, there is a window in the shower to open for fresh air if your nose is sensitive and the chemicals to keep the toilet clean are strong. Overall we were very pleased with our experience and would stay at this condo again.

You need to ask for extra towels and wash clothes. The kitchen is simply outfitted and there is not a dishwasher. They do provide pure drinking water which was in a 5 gallon container. Bring bug spray as there are no see ums everywhere. It was wonderful to wake up to a sunrise over the ocean. Next to the property is a public beach with 99 percent locals. It will be helpful to have some Spanish speaking ability as this is not a touristy area. You can watch the fishing boats come in in the evening just down the street. There are views of The Isla De Mujeres across the bay. The pools are cool and there is a kiddy pool, not a hot tub. THere is an outdoor grill, but bring your charcoal to use it. The bed was fairly comfortable and Monica, our concierge was prompt in her reply and in accomodating our requests for more towels, getting light bulbs replaced and giving us a bigger cutting board.

The view from our condo was spectacular! You wake up to see a 180* view of the Caribbean all around you! Really enjoyed the night views of the hotel zone with fireworks every night and the glo w of all the hotels lite up, watching isle mujeres ferry runs and all the boating activities. We ran into a few issues with communications.. 1st our car rental was a mess and we arrived to condo over an hour late. I didn't get my messages from vrbo until we are at the gate and took a few minutes to get in touch with the host Aurtoro to let us in. He was great! We stayed 10 days and a couple times we couldn't get ahold of him or his father( who's English is limited)which was a bit frustrating? Just we weren't sure when maid service was coming and just wanted a few more towels. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay! Shower pressure is not great and the bed is a little too firm for our liking. Kitchen is well equipped but be prepared to buy ice or keep filling up ice trays! Washer and dryer brand new and work great! We left a small cooler which hopefully will be there for the next tenant. Greatly needed if you want to go beaching. This is a very quiet and lovely complex. Very relaxing and the pools are well kept and usually wide open. Other than our communication issues we would love to stay here again!! Thanks so much!!
