"Brilliant base from which to explore the forested North of Tenerife, just a short hop from picturesque Puerto de la Cruz and loads of good walks nearby. Good access to the main road by car, after the long switchback, but it was too much/long for a stroll to nearby La Matanza de Acentejo in the heat. Hosts Peter and Martina were friendly, but discreet and I couldn't speak more highly of their helpfulness. We had a fab one week stay."

"We were a family of 3, all adults, so the accommodation suited us very well, as it had a double bedroom with an en suite and a single bedroom and separate bathroom. We hired a car, so were able to go to the local Spar supermarket and get groceries for some meals. The apartment is very well kitted out, but is perhaps not ideal for cooking meals, as there is only a small worktop oven/grill and a two ring hob (and no colander!). Very spacious apartment and we spent a lot of time up on the roof terrace. A 20 minute walk into the main resort which is a perfect distance for us and lots of things to do close at hand.
