"Love the beautiful architecture and historical aspects of the property. Well located near the Cal campus and very convenient for public transportation. Breakfast was a lovely added bonus! Only detraction regarding the area is the homeless situation which is evident throughout Berkeley & SF. "

"The staff was super accomodating. When I mentioned that street noise from my initial room was a bit annoying , they immediately offered me a room away from the street. They aim to please. "

Only downside is the area it is in was a bit dirty and there were homeless people around (I went to the Taco Bell across the street and a homeless man threw a cup of iced water at a girl) So just have caution while walking around the area "
