"Great place if you’re visiting the Berkeley area or Cal in general. In walking distance of everything Cal related with great local spots everywhere. It’s a very old hotel and they have leaned into that, so if you want somewhere modern this isn’t for you, but if you want a piece of Berkeley history I highly recommend. "

"I loved this quaint little retreat! It is a hidden gem.Once you enter the backyard, you see the lovely trees starting to bloom, ( it is the beginning of March), and you can hear various birds chirping.And, it is peaceful and quiet. I felt very relaxed.The small cottage is simply decorated with big windows looking into the yard, and a high beamed ceiling. Very charming."

"This was a perfect & beautiful staycation! This was a weekend for much needed peace and retreat and this space provided me with just that! Jerri was very welcoming and warm and accommodating and so was her neighbor Yoko. This location is very close to the bus route, whole foods, and college area. I also enjoyed a very nice pleasant walk to Lake Temescal about 30min. All the amenities was provided including the wifi. The overall Vrbo was very clean, cute cozy with some zen touches. And, the courtyard is chill and nice as well. I would definately choose and recommend this space again!"
