"Great place if you’re visiting the Berkeley area or Cal in general. In walking distance of everything Cal related with great local spots everywhere. It’s a very old hotel and they have leaned into that, so if you want somewhere modern this isn’t for you, but if you want a piece of Berkeley history I highly recommend. "

"I loved this quaint little retreat! It is a hidden gem.Once you enter the backyard, you see the lovely trees starting to bloom, ( it is the beginning of March), and you can hear various birds chirping.And, it is peaceful and quiet. I felt very relaxed.The small cottage is simply decorated with big windows looking into the yard, and a high beamed ceiling. Very charming."

"What an awesome place. The views really are spectacular. Everything is comfortable. Our dogs could go in and out as they pleased. We can't qait to go back."

"Janet was very welcoming and provided clear instructions for our stay. The house was beautiful and very well kept. The view from the patio was gorgeous, and a very lovely spot to have morning coffee. I highly recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time I visit."

"Host was very responsive. The studio was….awkward. It was spacious but huge couches /cabinets overwhelmed the space and made it awkward to move around. Bathroom was up some stairs and through 2 doors. Kinda small and again laid out awkwardly . Parking was a challenge on the second and third nights. Had to wait until spaces on the street opened up. On the last night, it rained. The hosts car was parked under a roof drip and had to listen to the drips thump on the hood of the car. "
