"We had a wonderful stay at Hacienda Encantada. The property is really beautiful, and we were in a building that was centrally located to everything and had ocean views. Our room was a one bedroom suite which was really spacious with a kitchen, large patio with a grill and two bathrooms. It felt upscale and allowed us to feel comfortable. The food at the resort is also great with many options including a nice breakfast buffet, casual options and fine dining for dinner. We also had access to the rooftop pool and services at the Vista Encantada resort. We also took advantage of the free shuttle to and from the marina. During the July 4th holiday, the hotel held a nice celebration with a bbq, live music and fireworks. The hotel staff, especially Manny, also helped us after we traveled back home and realized our daughter left two precious keepsakes behind. He located the items and helped arrange shipping. "

"From the moment I arrived at Hacienda Encantada, I was completely blown away by the resort’s atmosphere. The stunning traditional décor throughout the property, especially in the lobby, gave it an elegant and authentic charm that made the whole experience feel like a cultural escape, not just a vacation. The views? Absolutely unbeatable. Waking up to panoramic ocean views framed by classic arches, with the soft hues of sunrise reflecting off the water, was something I’ll never forget. The infinity pool just outside my room made it even more surreal — it felt like I had my own private piece of paradise. But what truly set this stay apart was the staff. Every person I encountered, from check-in to daily service, was beyond helpful and incredibly friendly. They went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and taken care of at every turn, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The all-inclusive package made it effortless to relax and enjoy everything the resort had to offer — delicious food, stunning surroundings, and exceptional hospitality. If you’re looking for a resort that combines breathtaking scenery, warm and attentive service, and beautiful traditional design, Hacienda Encantada is everything you could ask for and more. "I booked a non–all-inclusive stay, but a week before my trip, I received an email saying the resort would be transitioning to an all-inclusive model. When I checked in, the front desk (Maximiliano) confirmed my package was now all-inclusive, and all outlets on the property treated it as such. However, on the second day, the pool bar said they couldn’t verify our package. We were pulled out of the pool, still wet, and walked to the front desk in a humiliating manner. The same employee admitted their mistake and initially offered to waive the first day's charges, letting us begin paying the all-inclusive rate moving forward. After speaking with management, he reversed this and told us we were responsible for everything—even though it was their error. We were offered only a 20% discount. To avoid more stress and embarrassment, we paid for the all-inclusive package—but were still charged three additional unexplained fees. Beyond the billing issue, the resort was poorly maintained: dirty puddles on the grounds, no pool towels, stained cushions, and disorganized pool furniture. Staff seemed confused and uninterested, and restaurant service was slow and unwelcoming. Worst of all, no manager ever came to speak with us. This experience completely overshadowed our vacation. I would not recommend this property to anyone."
